Hi there,
i am about to get the fs100 from BH and i think I have red almost all articles and threads and vimeos and youtubes
on the footage and lenses that i can buy. I am pretty good at shooting when all is automatic and also at directing.
Never set up a shot. So basically shooting and editing. This will be my first go at such a camera. I want to shoot handheld,
with maybe the blackbird.
My objective is:
1. Shoot a short drama script (internet) my brother wrote.
2. set up and do interviews
3. prepare for next step: setting up shots for docu/indie
Now this is in my wishlist so far.
fs100 with kit lens
sony sal1650
LA-EA2 adapter
SEL 50f18
SEL 16f28
SEL 1855
VCLECF1 fish-eye
AT8022 X/Y Stereo Phantom and Battery Powered Field Microphone
Heliopan - 82mm Variable Gray ND Filter (with stup up rings for lenses)
Sony - NP-F970 L-Series Info-Lithium Battery Pack
Camera Motion Research - Blackbird Camera Stabilizer
My doubts are:
- I red the review on the SAL1650 as a great widezoom. But no OIS, so can I do handheld, or is this a step too far for me
and my first two objectives. Should i concentrate first on the SEL.
- The Heliopan. Is 82 too big, or should I go for 72
- I really want to put all my effort in making the image look filmic (like everyone else) and I know its all in
the operator and experience. But is it doable with these lenzes?
- I red a lot about the Tokina 11-16. Is that one preferred over SEL?
- Is there anything missing from my list?
- if some lenzes are redundant, which should I lose first and which are preferred?
- is this mic good for shooting drama or should i get another one?
Thank you so much for anyone who could give me advise. It is highly appreciated!!
regards
Roel
