Hi, in a few weeks im going to be making a small doc on Venice beach, interviewing locals etc - i have a few questions if anyone would be kind enough to give some advice...
-it is going to be very bright (fingers crossed!), i have purchased a LCW fader ND filter and have a sigma 30mm 1.4 lens for my 600d. I would like to keep the DOF hence purchasing a vari filter/1.4 lens... what would be the best f stop to achieve a decent bokeh effect while still being able to focus on the talent easily? (im thinking 1.4 will be too much DOF?)
-i only have a 30mm which should be fine for general handheld interviews (?) but may purchase another while im out there, what would you recommend given my topic.?
