advice for FCP to Avid

I want to export my DVCproHD footage from FCP to Avid with no quality loss. Does anyone have any advice on export file format settings? Will there be any quality loss? If i just exported at the native file format QT, when avid asks to convert the file, will there be any quality loss?
 
I suggest you export DVCPROHD quicktimes and convert to MXF files with
Raylight for Mac. There is no recompression there. The resulting MXF files are directly importable into Avid with no recompression.

you will lose quality in the Avid unless it's a DS. Everything below that is still pretty hard on an image. Much harder than FCP, anyway.
