. They claimed that if you rubbed it on your dick your dick would get bigger. How the F could THAT be???

If it doesn't, you should see a doctor. Mine gets bigger no matter what I rub on it.

Temporarily, at least.

Beer Commercials
What They Show - Beautiful young women playing volleyball.
The Truth - Someone slumped over a toilet promising they'll never drink again.

Oh my Lord! I can't believe I forgot about THIS one! Beer and alcohol commercials are the WORST! Yeah, pop open a beer and be surrounded by beautiful women. Yeah that is SO stupid it hurts! Why don't they show two trailer-trashers punching the heck out of each other outside a corner bar until the cops show up? Hey you wanna' hear something REALLY funny? Right now Busch Beer has a special "hunting pack"! It's a camo box and cans with the "Busch" in day-glo orange! Is that funny or WHAT! Yeah guns and alcohol... what a combo! (LMAO)

Remember the Marlboro man? To this DAY people STILL associate smoking with being cool! That is SO funny! Who is the cool one... the guy who calmly walks off the plane or the guy who power-walks his way outside and stands with all the other addicts? Take a fresh look at it and forget that you've seen people smoking your entire life... look how funny it is to burn some stuff and pull the fumes off it and into your lungs to sedate yourself... I've dated smokers and my dad has smoked his entire life... so it's no big deal, but I don't think it's anything like the Marlboro man. I think it's more like Aunt Eunice at a slot machine.

I'm so glad there are shows like Family Guy and South Park. At least then I feel like I'm not the only one watching the ignorant masses in amazement.

You are absolutely right, but I think consumers are a bit more sophisticated then you give them credit for. No one really expects their Big Mac to look like the one on the back lit professionally photographed sign, if they did the disappointment would keep them from ever going back.

On the other hand, as I write this I think of the debt ratio in this country as we buy cars we can’t afford, houses we cant afford, clothes we can’t afford, pop idols that were created by a committee the maximize sales of ancillary goods, . . . sigh, I guess you have a point.

If any of you guys ever come to Saint Louis I guarantee that if you go to Off the Hook that your food will look just like this:

Off the Hook Full Plate.jpg

I took all of our pictures myself with my Canon G6 right in the restaurant. We didn't even pick out individual samples or anything!

Did you know in normal restaurant pictures the whipped cream is shaving cream and ice cream is mashed potatoes and the buns are individually crafted with each sesame seed glued in place and turkeys are braized from raw with a torch and...

Sorry... I've been into photography for a long time... including food photography.

Aha! Food photography... that's something I know a little about. I was an assistant to a commercial photographer for 5 years. His specialty was food and architecture. We worked, mostly, with 4x5 transparencies. Man, talk about serious resolution! Throw a 4x5 transparency down on a light box and check it with a loupe; wow!

The ingredients used for different food substitutes depends on the food stylist's training and preferences. The stylist we worked with used a blend of shortening (like Crisco) and powdered sugar and mix together in a bowl until it looked like the texture of ice cream. This combination stands up better than the real thing when it comes to the modeling lights, time it takes for the photographer and, stylist, and art director to come to agreement on the proper placement, etc. of everything.

HA HA! Breath in and out.;)
For me it's the "Split Ender". It's only advertised online that I've seen so far.
It's a special gizzmo that's supposed to cure split ends, or at the very least cut only the very tips of the strands of hair that have a split end on them.
Turns out, the piece of crap is SUPER LOUD (sounds like a hedge trimmer!), which gives a total moron the illusion that it's working hard as hell to get the job done.
It doesn't actually do crap!
Your better off wrapping your hair around a finger, running it down, and trimming off the split ends that pop up on your own. It's free, and it actually works!!!

*BREEEAATHH*

So, yeah...that's what's got my panties in a bunch lately.;)

¡¡¡Online advertising is REALLY freaking driving me to the edge these days!!!:D

I want to. I just have a problem with selling something that I think is overpriced or crap. It's not a good problem to have with a degree in Mass Communications.
I truly don't believe in anything enough to convince people to sell their souls for it.;)~
Well, except for people, I would love to sell people. Hmmmm-that sounded kind of...
Pimpish or something. Not what I meant...but you know what I'm sayin'...don't make me say it.

I hate the commercials about balding remidies where there are "Noticable results in just one use", or "See the results in seconds". How in the F*** can you see HAIR GROWTH results in any less time than it takes to actually grow hair????

And what the hell?? I thought bald was beautiful. 'kept rammin that down our throats for years, just long enough for me to start getting bald, then WHAM!, all these hair restoration products.

I feel lied to.

Lied to and dirty.

Dirty and out of place.

Out of place and bald.

Just me and my great bald head, alone the both of us in a dark room.

And there's a monkey in here who hits me.

They didn't say anything about hair. They said you can see the results immediately: A nice pink rash, maybe some flaking skin...

I didn't know if I should start a new thread for this or not... but I guess this fits here.

What is wrong with this picture?

Busch Hunting Package.jpg

Ahhh, the much-ballyhooed Busch Special Edition Hunting Package of which I've been told.

Hunting = guns
Busch = drunk

I dunno... where's the issue?

Check it... that box is in "HD". :)

This Guy (http://www.peterpopoff.org/) gives away FREE "Miracle Spring Water"!
You'll be a millionaire after you rub it all over yourself!!!!

ITs suppose to be for hunting because its camo but its got huge BUSCH letters in neon orange written across it.

Who drinks busch anyways?

I bought this ONLY to take this picture... I mentioned it earlier in the thread and I guess I'm amused more easily then most people... but I laughed my ass off at this every time I saw it in the store.

They were almost sold out of 'em and I panicked!

The guy was stocking the "Special Edition Brain Surgery Package" as I took one of the last hunting ones.

That it claims Busch is "smooth, refreshing beer"? Ha! Too easy.
