advanced pulldown removal when fcp feels like it

So i have noticed lately that when i capture 24pa footage and i hit capture now sometimes it says in the window display "capturing" and not removing advanced pulldown. Other times when I hit capture now it will state that it is capturing and removing pulldown. I always stop and recapture until it says removing pulldown.

all capture settings double and triple checked.

anybody have any ideas as to why this is?
 
ive actually been ahving the same problem. some of the video is then interlaced and then some is progressive...super weird. and quite annoying.
if anyone has any help on the topic it might be good...and if we dont get a good response here ortega we might want to have the thread moved to the FCP part of this forum
