advance planning for Atomos Shogun's 4K recording format with Sony A7s

According to Apple's white paper on the Pro Res codec, 4K Pro Res (Proxy, LT, regular, and HQ) has these Mbps rates (page 19 of the document):

Having never shot 4K Pro Res, can anyone (who has) tell me if there is any noticeable difference in image quality between Pro Res Proxy and Pro Res?
If not, I would rather shoot 4K 24fps in Pro Res Proxy at 145 Mbps (or Pro Res LT at 328 Mbps) than Pro Res at 471 Mbps.

Someone on the C100 forum posted this comparison:

AVCHD, Proxy, LT, regular, hq, 444

And if you lift the mid tones so you can see the worst compression in the shadows:

AVCHD has the second most detail, but there's a little flickering from the I-frame compression.
Proxy is totally unusable. It's not intended for anything except proxies so...
LT is quite bad, maybe ok for web content.
Regular has a bit of macro blocking, useable but you lose shadow texture.
422 is ok, but macro blocking in shadows. (Fwiw, I have never seen macro blocking with it; to me it is perfect....)
4444 is near perfect.

I would use HQ for sure.
