Hello All
I am still selling one of my editing workstations. I have used the
Adobe platform for over three years and it has served me well.
Recently I have added the Mac platform to my workflow, so I no longer
need this box. I call it my "Matrox Box" because it has a Matrox
RTX100 Extreme card installed in it.
I have built it to spec according to the Matrox system requirements. I have been building custom computers for around 7 years. I don't know how many of you are
familiar with the Matrox cards, but they are really nice.
Here are some of the features it has.
○ Superior real-time 3D effects with advanced keyframe controls
○ Real-time filters and color tools – pan & scan, old movie, soft
focus, color match, and more
○ Real-time analog and DV capture and print-to-tape
○ Real-time MPEG-2 capture and encoding
○ Faster, more versatile capture and export tools
The specs on this computer are as follows:
Components
○ Antec Case with 480W Power Supply
○ Asus P4C800 Deluxe Motherboard
○ Intel 3.0GHz HT Prescott CPU
○ 1GB Corsair XMS PC3200 Ram
○ ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB AGP Video Card
○ Matrox RTX100 Extreme Pro Card
○ Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Sound Card
○ 3 Firewire Ports
○ 4 USB 2.0 Ports
Storage
○ Two 200GB Hard Disks
○ Two 120GB Hard Disks in a RAID 1 Array
○ One 80GB Boot Drive
Software
○ Windows XP Pro
○ Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5
○ Adobe DVD Encore 1.5
○ Adobe Audition 1.5
○ Adobe After Effects 6.5 Standard
I have used this box for around 2 years, and it has been an extremely
solid editor. In 2005 I produced 20 different projects on this box
without any problems. I do regular maintenance on it, which includes
defragging the hard disks, updating things, such as software patches
and drivers.
The system will come ready-to-use with a fresh install of Windows XP
Pro and all Adobe software installed, tested and burned in to make
sure it is a solid editor. If any of you are wanting to purchase some
Adobe software, this is a great deal and a system to boot!
I am selling this system and software for $1,500
Price is before shipping cost.
If any of you are interested in this system, let me know. Also, if any
of you know someone that might have a need for pre-built, stable Adobe
setup, please let them know about this! If you have any questions
about this system, contact me via PM.
