Adobe CS4 Issue - Footage glitches

Hey guys, I got my new HMC150p and I unpacked it and took a few seconds of footage to throw it into Premiere or After Effects so I could goof around..

When I play the footage in premiere or ram preview in after effects the footage looks like it glitches out, big boxes appear and it almost looks like I added a Magic Bullet misfire filter (the splotches one).

I reshot a bunch of clips using three different SD cards (2 transcend 16gb Class 6's and a 16gb Panasonic Class 6)... I've got enough horsepower to run AVCHD, but I think this might be some kind of software issue...

When I render out the footage in After Effects the glitching is gone.

Anyone know what's going on?

UPDATE:

Here's a cropped screen capture I grabbed while watching the footage in Premiere, I circled the "glitch"

Some more info... I'm shooting at 108024p and I'm using mostly default settings.

Alrighty, here's another clue...

I downloaded a trial of cineform's neoscene and converted the clips to the intermediary codec... As .AVI files they run fine, however a little slower due to the size I imagine.

This must mean it's Premiere and After Effects having problems with the AVCHD codec right? I have CS4 and in Premiere I chose AVCHD... Any ideas as to why this happens? I've checked for updates and apparently I'm all up to date... is there a plugin I'm missing or should I should go out and buy Neoscene?

Premiere Pro plays back the AVCHD footage in draft quality. To playback the footage without any glitches, right click on the video in the Program panel and choose Quality > Highest Quality. Repeat the same steps for the Source panel if needed.

Oh my god... I LOVE YOU! That seemed to work, the footage is a little groggy at first but it plays perfectly fine at high quality... no glitches! After Effects was the same, however previewing takes a bit longer.
