I just tried to install Xpress DV 4.6 on my new Dell Laptop and I get this error message: "Exception: ADM_DSOUND_MIXER_OPEN_ERROR" which immediately closes down the Avid application. What gives? Are there some tweaks I need to make in my computer?
The computer is a Dell Vostro w/ Windows XP, 3 GB of Ram, Intel T5670 1.80 Ghz Core 2 Duo Processor. NVIDIA Geforce 8600M GS Graphics Card.
