Adjusting the black???

Hi everyone!

how (on a HPX170) do you adjust the black...I mean, I know where the button is located to do so...but what is the exact procedure?

In the manuel, they say to adjust the white automatically and after adjust the black...
But isn't better to adjust first the white balance manually with a white card?
And to adjust the black...do I have to point the camera to something black?

Hold down the "AWB" button (same one used for white balance) until it does a black balance for you.

No - I believe once tha camera has "white" it can do black for itself.
