GH4 Adjust GH4 ISO with aperture dial

So... I finally decided to update my firmware. I was still on version 1.0. You can laugh, but I went for the 'if it ain't broke, don't take the time to fix it' motto.

Anyways, after updating to 2.2, I noticed that the ISO can no longer be changed with the aperture dial. I don't know exactly what firmware this change took effect, but this is how I've been changing my ISO for almost a year now, so it was a jarring adjustment. Is there a setting I'm missing that will allow me to switch it back?

Reset didn't seem to do anything. Are you suggesting that I should be able to adjust my ISO with the aperture dial on the latest firmware? I thought this was something that everyone had to deal with, and not just an issue specific to my particular GH4.
 
I can't say, as I haven't bothered with the latest firmware because I currently have no interest in anamorphic imaging.
 
It's somewhat confusing what you mean by changing ISO with the Aperture dial. If this is what you mean: manual lens on the camera, set mode to A, ISO to Auto, then moving aperture in the lens, does indirectly change the ISO. Even if the camera is set on M, Auto ISO also works and changing the aperture indirectly changes the ISO. Perhaps you are trying to do something different.

Sorry if my wording was confusing. I meant that I wanted to use the dial highlighted in red, which is used to control the electronic aperture by default, to adjust the ISO when the ISO button has been pressed. Currently, ISO adjustments are limited to the dials highlighted in blue. The ability to use the top dial was available in firmware version 1.0 and then later removed in an update.

I'm only at 2.1 but when the camera is set to manual mode, I can adjust ISO or WB using the front dial. Look under the custom menu, page 7, Dial Set. I have Assign Dial set to F/SS, with Exposure Comp. set to OFF as that seems to only function in S, A, P modes. Will update to 2.2 soon and will see if things hold.
