GH2 Additional OLPF to GH2 / Observations

I have been trying an additional OLPF for the GH2, A filter that I had made in China a while ago for the 5Dmk2, but due to the scaling method used on the 5Dmk2 could not use to it's full use. On the 5Dmk2 the filter would sit inside a small plastic frame that propped open the mirror (to give you an idea of size). 40mm (w) x 25mm (h) x 3.38 - 2 layer 0° & 45°.

However I have tried this duel layer filter with the GH2. It's mounted inside a Nikon mount lens adapter (Metabones).

Observations:
• Reduction in aliasing, not that there is much to worry about on the GH2 compared to the 5Dmk2.
• Reduced contrast.
• Slight colour cast, that I love. (the filter also has a IR coating)
• Matches more closer the AG-101.
• Gives the image a more organic look.
• Easy to swap out if you have a couple of lens mount adapters.

I'll post some video when I get a bit of down time.

Here is a quick frame grab.

Thanks for the tests, James.

I'm not a fan of charts, generally, but I'd like to see what it's doing on a black and white chart.

How's the setup look and how does it swap out?

Me neither, rather get out and shoot, but I had these filters and thought I would try one. I have a variety of thickness in 1 or 2 layers.
The set up is rather simple at the moment. The filter sits wedged in the adapter with putty (until I get a plate made up). Swap out would be if you had two adapter one with filter one with out.
I'll have to shoot a chart.

Interesting, it certainly seems to lift the blacks and reduce contrast and sharpness a bit. Does it mess up your adapter's FFD? Your images seem very noisy especially for ext day, it's a bit unrelated but any idea why?
