Adding contrast in the camera

We shoot a large number of interiors, without a lot of additional light.

Most of the video has a soft, almost grey haze look. It seems to be easily corrected by adding contrast in editing. Is there any way to adjust camera settings to add more contrast to the picture?

We use normal gamma, 60i, white balance frequently; any suggestions?

You can lower your master pedestal to bring out the blacks. -6 at 0 set up works for me. Also you can use Cine-Gamma V which is set for increased constrast. Also don't overexpose...video does not like overexposure...throw on the zebras at 85 or 90% and make sure nothing triggers it. Best of luck.
