Adding a bmdpcc to my bag at half price

With this 1/2 price deal on the bmdpcc, for me it is a no brainer. I already have the panny 12-35, the bmdpcc camera is for those situations where the rx10 would be a struggle. Normally I would just pass on those situations, now I will be able to reach into my bag pull out another camera to get the job done. Guess I am going to be spending a bunch of time learning colour matching.

After you see the image, you'll never want to shoot with the RX10 again, there's no comparison.
I picked up an RX10 as a crash cam and for quick slomo grabs but it just can't cut it in the same timeline with the BM image, and I'm a pretty experienced colorist.
The RX10 has a clean video image, well shot BM footage is in an entirely different league - if you're producing film and TV spot work as we do with them.

I'm just an old fart retired guy playing with stuff. I am am quite happy to try and make the bm raw footage match the nice clean footage that comes out of the rx10. Probably a little easier than when you are doing pro work.

I'm seriously looking at this one as well, the color grading is a consideration, but at the same time an interesting challenge. Does the ProRes need as much color grading? Can this be done say in FCPX, were the RAW is done in Davinci? Buy the time I get the speed booster and a new lens the price goes up a bit. I desperately need a second camera to compliment my 5D3.
