Adaptor for Nikon etc

When using an adaptor, do you still get histogram, zebras, peaking helpers....or does that info come from the cpu lens?

GH1 & GH2 have a live histogram display. Doesn't matter what lens is mounted.

GH1 & GH2 do not display zebras, although GH2 can highlight >100% overexposure during recording or playback, with any lens. GH1 can only do this during playback.

GH2 doesn't display peaking "helpers" per se. The GH1 adds a slight amount of peaking aliasing to the EVF display during recording, which aids focusing during a take. I don't know yet if the GH2 does this too, regrets.

For critical focusing the GH2 supports live full 1080i HDMI out to a monitor even while the cam is in record mode, which the GH1 can only do during playback.

GH1 & GH2 can magnify the live preview, regardless which lens is used, but not during recording.

Been working with a GH1 for a year and didn't know this... I never used the EVF. Wish I knew this before.
