Just confirming that there currently aren't any adapters/solutions for mounting an EF lens to the FS100 and still retaining aperture control?

That would be correct... the work around is tedious > Put the lens on the Canon, set aperture, enable stop button by pressing and holding, detach lens and move it to the FS100... or so people write, I haven't actually tried it yet 
If you want to try the dumb adapter until the Birger comes out, I can recommend the Fotodiox. Atleast the one I got has a snug fit.

yeah the aperture trick would be a step backwards, I'm trying to get away from the 5D for video not back to Canon firmware 1.0. Looks like I'll have to wait until the Birger comes out. Looks promising, thanks!
