adapting Edison connector

Is there a reasonably affordable and safe way to convert 2k fresnels with Edison plugs to run off 110/220 grounded household/commercial power?

Uh, oops. I meant convert TO Edison, and typed faster than I was thinking. The connector I need to adapt FROM is stage pin, male:

It should be no problem., just make sure you get an edison plug rated at 20a, and know how to wire it. (not brain surgery, just make sure you do it right.)

It doesn't seem like that's cutting it too close, so long as on your shoot you are 1000000% sure there is nothing on the entire circuit (not just that outlet) except the 2k. The 2k (2000 watts) draws just over 18 amps (W=A*V, therefore 2000watts/110volts=18amps) leaving roughly a 10% buffer towards full capactiy. A much easier way to caculate this obviously is just to use the voltage as 100, and than when you hit 20 amps in your calculations, you will have automatically left a 10% buffer. Above all else though, be careful when using electricity. It would really suck to get shocked to death I would think.
Peace,

I've heard that sucks, yes. Thanks for your help.

Still looking for the actual physical adapter, though, if anyone has any leads on that...
