FS7: Adapter for BP-U60 battery

Occasionally we are getting requests for a BP-U60/BP-U90 style battery adapter so the battery could be used to power the FS7 while the camera battery port is not accessible for example while using an XDCA extension. So we came up with 2 versions of the adapter like on this picture

Example with a V lock plate

Would appreciate feedback as far as going in the right direction with that or requests for another configuration.

More information here and here

Alex I already use your adapter with the V lock plate as pictured . Works well though most of my batteries need the Sony power plug so I add an adapter from that to the XLR

Two questions:
1 - Can the adapter with the v-lock send power directly through the v-lock plate connection as well?
2 - Do any of these provide a p-tap out as well?

(I don't know about others, but I seems ti be increasingly running multiple accessories using p-tap plug/splitter)

Also, if there were a way to fit a 1/4" thread mount on the back of the first (basic) adapter as well, plus a slightly longer cable option...

Thank you for the questions, we actually have this option to use a fully integrated adapter plate that passes power, too.

also the cable length can be customized, just scroll down to the options
The EX-V-WS adapter comes with the plate that has the 1/4"-20 threaded hole (it is in the center of the mounting plate)
As far as the D-Tap, they usually have them on the back plates, not on the V lock adapter sides. Also, many 3d party BP-U60 batteries like SWITs have their own D-Tap sockets.

Hmm... certainly looks like what I'm after, Alex... with several BP-U batteries (both Sony & Swit) gathering dust after I put the XDCA extension on my FS7...
