The only things at all that we know about Scarlet are a) that it's named "Scarlet", and b) that it'll fit in your pocket.
That's it. That's all. Nothing else is known. Not price tag, not performance, not lens, not anything (unless you count that Jarred apparently registered "Scarlet2K.com", but with website registration costing $5 I don't know how much believability to put into the notion that that'd be "proof" the scarlet was 2k).
So it could be a $1500 pocket cam. It could be a $10,000 EX1 in a pocket form factor. It could be anything. Could be a "lipstick" cam. And, it might be ready to ship the day they announce it -- or it might be months away, or a year away. Absolutely nothing else is known (unless Red's made some announcement in the last couple of weeks, and I missed it).
