Adam Sandler’s Jack And Jill Trailer. Trust me, you'll love it.

I just had to google it to see if that was an actual movie. The first thing that came up was a newsfeed from the Washington post titled, "Adam Sandler in world's worst trailer for 'Jack & Jill'".

I just don't understand it. How do 'at one time' funny comedic actors on top of the world just COMPLETELY lose touch with whats funny? Is it they've just been sitting in their mansions too long and lost touch with the real world? If the Adam Sandler of 15 years ago saw this, he'd rip it to shreds. Period.

I have been disgusted with Sandler's last couple movies. Just Go With It for instance was completely unfunny, the jokes missed the mark by so far it was embarrassing.

Not going to waste my money on Sandler at the cinema on this one. This better not do $100 mil.

What the hell is going on?

Logic would say that his career is over. Unfortunately, Hollywood doesn't pay attention to logic and neither does the moviegoing public.

I must be the only one that thought his old stuff was terrible, too. Billy Madison? Happy Gilmore? The Waterboy? I couldn't stand them, and everyone loved them!

But I DID enjoy Mr. Deeds and 50 first dates because even though it had a bit of Adam Sandler in it, he played a much better serious role (but not too serious, or you end up with Click).

OH and I enjoyed Airheads because he wasn't as huge as he is now, so his schtick wasn't tired out.

Well, the thing about Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore is that they're great for fans of absurdist humor, which I am. Of course humor is very subjective and there are many different styles, but I can't even tell what sensibilities this movie is trying to appeal to. I really liked Funny People, though.

I liked Adam Sandler when he was on SNL, and I was a bit younger...
That being said, Grownups wasn't THAT bad, and I haven't seen Reign over me, but that looks pretty good.

As an aside, it seems that if you're ever cast in a Happy Madison production, you wont have to worry about finding work ever again. Sandler recycles his cast like nobody's business.

Sandler's only good movies were Punch-Drunk Love and Funny People, and both of those were because the directors knew how to handle him.

Punch Drunk Love was great! Have to watch that one again.

It's funny, I thought Grown Ups was terrible when I saw it at the movies but compard to Just Go With It it's not too bad at all.

Finally saw this...dear holy god WTF!?...It's like Sandler decided he was going to make even worse versions of all those movies Judd Apatow lampooned in Funny People..."From the makers of Just Go With It and Grown Ups!" This is supposed to get people in the theater?...I think I have to go take a long walk in the woods and a hot shower to reconsider if I want to be any part of an industry that could produce this.

Kind of looks like the terrible mock-up movies shown in Funny People, which is its own irony, on several levels.

It reminds me of the saying 'If you throw enough crap against the wall some of it will stick.' In Hollywood it don't matter how much sticks, as long as a big name throws it.
