ACVHD content management for MACs

Hi Sony supply the AVCHD content management software for PC's is there any software available to transfer and rename clips within the AVCHD file structure for MACs

I have been working with AVCHD footage from an AF100 and while there are several options for renaming files (I use "A Better Finder Rename"), none of them maintains the AVCHD file structure. So if you do this you will loose timecode and metadata, but the clips can easily be imported into CS5.

destroying the file structure sounds like a bad idea... you should make youself a read-only .dmg of the card before you try anything crazy.
