...just 2 more pics showing the technique. these ones were run through a soft focus filter in post(as you can plainly see by the letterboxed image blurring into the once black letterboxed area..), and arecompressed to under a 100k jpg to fit on zooms grab site, but its still ok examples. they are stills from a commercial production im working on. in the actual video, there is a quick rack focus between the face that is in front, to the face in back. the girl was moving so its not quite as crip. the total distance between cam and back wall was 7 1/2 feet.  anyhow heres the links

nah, the grabs are unaltered accept for some cc and the soft focus effect, which effects all portions of the grab (even the subject in focus).its pretty much the same as having a diffusion fiter on .
