May be a bit of a noobish question:
Our primary use for cameras is Dance Festivals/Competitions. This coming year, we've expanded to not only selling to parents and family, but offering video adjudication where the shot has to be a static wide shot of the stage. To save costs, and to make things as simple as possible for the operator, I am trying to figure out how to activate the record function on both cameras at the same time.
I currently own the Manfrotto MVR901ECPL and my thoughts have been to try and jury-rig a 2.5mm splitter into two 2.5mm cables that go to each camera with the zoom function disabled on the static camera.
Is something like this possible with a BNC cable over the timecode port?
