SHORT: Action short I did, TX9: Sicarius 3

Shot one day and edited the next...
What's the reason for mentioning that ? Is it so we know that it was just for fun ?
If that's the case, then okey doke; there's nothin' wrong with shootin' for fun. :-) The only comment on that would be you're "hits" seemed more real than a lot of other vids I see here.

If you wanted a real review - concentrate on story/script. Unless you're James Cameron shooting a 200 million 3D farce, we need a decent script to stay entertained.
Think about who your characters are. For example, why is the dude wearing a sniper suit in the living room ?? I could give more comments, but I suspect this is just a fun shoot etc.

Cheers.

Keep shooting.

Thanks for the comments!

I mention the timeframe exactly for the reason you said, so you know this wasn't meant to be a magnum opus. Also thanks for the comment on the hits--I found out one of them took a few months of martial arts and it seems to have paid off!

The sniper suit thing is sort of explained in the other videos in the series. But, this whole series is more of a "what can we do that looks cool" kind of a deal ;)

In general the sound is good. The SFX or ok.

But... there are 3 possibilities:

- youtube gives unsync sound

- you did ADR but just did it "fast fast" so you could tell now "we did it in 2 days" so you had something to defense yourself when someone would say it was as bad as hell

- you recored it on a 5D with the sound direcyly on it (5D has 2 frames out of sync)

- you recored sound separately but you forgot to use clapboard

Is this part of a web series ?

I wouldn't glorify it, just a few videos that we did that are all related. TX9: Sicarius was the first we did, TX9 2 is a prologue and then TX9 3 (this one) is the continuation of the first.

I've noticed this too, and it's #1. I think it has to do with the .mp4 I use to upload, but I'm not entirely sure how to fix that.

We shot on a GH1 and audio was with a Rode NTG2 directly into the cam.

I think it has to do with some convertion to mp4.

And it can also be that the GH1 is not sync...record a sound of a clap (hitting something with something) and then look that
