I created this animation for Renderosity's annual Holiday Contest:

Manged to win 3rd place, though given there were only 10 animation entries I'm not really sure that's much of an accomplishment. It's not exactly amazing but I'm actually pretty happy with it (bad character animation and all). It was basically created like a real film. I wrote a script, I created an storyboard, I recorded the dialog, I animated it, etc. As part of the contest judging, all entries were anonymous and the winner picked by popular vote, so I haven't really had any chance to talk about it, I'd love to hear what people have to say about it.
It was the first time I've tried to use Adobe Premiere CC as an editor (I have been using Vegas 10). To be honest that didn't go very well. May have to rethink that one.
All the 3d was done using Poser/DAZ Studio models inside DAZ Studio. All the effects work (explosions, gun flashes, background snow, etc) was done in After Effects. Sound effects are from various libraries. The soundtrack was created in Acid using loops.
