acoustic instramental guitar performance

What mic did you use? Sounded pretty good.

Personally, I would have liked more CUs. esp. of his hands picking and strumming... and also of his head movement. Also, the bottom angle you were shooting from could have been more to the right (in my opinion)... but maybe you didn't have too much of a choice as to where you were filming from...

Over the summer I filmed an entire music/dance/theatre festival and it was intense (I filmed and edited over 100 DVDs)! I find that recording a performance is one thing, but capturing the art and making it "real" to those watching the DVD is another. It's pretty hard stuff and I'm still learning.
 
neumann km140's they really save the day sometimes when soundboard feeds don't come out or are full of static

yeah I think maybe I should have had more a difference in angle's.....

I need to pick up a monopaud I think so I can get some more variety... both cams in fixed positions is just not enough even with pans
 
Nice work, maybe some zooming, panning would be nice.

Did you make that link website as part of a .mac account? I'd like to be able to have a website for links like that, and I have a mac but not a .mac account.

Or anyone know of any free websites? I don't want to make a website, but just be able to feature a move or two rather than posting it on youtube for the whole world to see...
