Achieving the best resolution w/squeeze mode

I'm shooting my first short with the DVX. Despite the loss in resulotion, I decided to use squeeze mode since the anamorphic adapter will be too restrictive for this particular project. That brings me to my question. Is there anything I can do to ensure the best resolution I can get from squeeze mode? I'm eliminating wide shots except where absolutely needed, and am covering my scenes with mostly medium and CU shots. What can I do from a technical standpoint?

Check out the above link, actually still on this first page of the Technical forum ... Barry and jdanstan go IN DEPTH (as well as others) about benefits or lack thereof from squeeze, etc.

Basically, if you choose to use squeeze, have your settings on THIN line detail.
