Hey Everyone,
I have seen a few little blips of items about shooting 2.35 with the HVX200. Now I am getting close to shooting my next project, and I find it an appealing option.
So in terms of quality, would I be better off:
Shooting 1080p and then cropping it from 1920x1080 to 1920x817 in post...
OR
Somehow shooting anamorphic in 1080p so that the resulting image has a higher resolution. Can you shoot anamorphic in 1080p with some kind of adapter? Is there one that exists? If I'm not mistaken, the vertical resolution would be 1080, and then the expanded horizontal resolution would be ______.
I suppose this would complicate quite a few things, such as how to monitor an anamorphic image. But I figured if anyone could give me answer, I figured there might be someone here. Thanks in advance.
