F35: Aces

There is no article that I am aware of, I just came across the IDT in Resolve when I was working. To use ACES in Resolve you go to the project settings -> color management and switch the color science from Davinci YRGB to ACESCC or ACESCCT. Either is fine and are nearly identical, the ACESCCT has a toe that makes the grading feel more like grading log film footage. In the same section change the ACES Output Device Transform to sRGB or Rec709 depending on your monitor. At this point if you are only grading slog footage you can also set the ACES Input Device Transform to Sony Slog1. Hit save and that part is done. Now if you didn't set the IDT in the project settings you need to do it on the footage. To do that import the footage into the media pool. Right click on it and choose ACES Input Transform and find Sony Slog1 in the list. Thats it.

For the color space transform you don't switch to ACES just leave the project using the default YRGB color science. In the color tab add a node, open the OpenFX window and assign the Color Space Transform effect to the footage by dragging it onto the node you just made. Change the Input Colorspace from Use Time Line to Sony S-Gamut, change the Input Gamma to Sony S-Log. From there you can play with the Tone Mapping and Gamut Mapping settings to your liking.

I've used the Color Space Transform in resolve with the F35 and have had results I'm really happy with. I'm a new member, my account finally got approved after months of waiting. Hi everyone, and thanks for posting here and sharing so much info.
