Hi there
First Post, and I wish it was about something creative and not about something I messed up. Quick question. I have been shooting a project over the last week and during one shooting session, the rain ( I live in Scotland) was absolutely horizontal. I had a rain cover on and for for my sins managed to knock the gain right up to 12db. Aaaargh! The rain was dripping down my face and into my eyes and the viewfinder and it was only once the rain had stopped that I noticed the gain setting.........I cursed. Oh yes I did. Here's the question. What is the best way to reduce the amount of noise on the footage without too much (more) quality loss. Is this possible? If not, I suppose I could always make the footage more grainy and scratchy, replacing the words 'Urban Look' for the word's 'Looks Crappy'. Any advice would be much appreciated.
