Here's a short I DP'd for for my Motion Pictures Language class at the Academy Of Art in San Francisco. I just wrapped up my first year in the program, and I really dig it there. We shot this short on an HVX in 720p.
Because I got hospitalized and out of school for 4 weeks, we only had one weekend before the last week of school to do the project. The director (my classmate) is a pretty talented kid at only 18 years old, having written, edited, and scored the short. He also really wanted to act in it, but after one day of shooting he decided he hated not being behind the camera with me.
The quality isn't great because I had to encode from a DVD to mp4 and then into Vimeo. There is no CC except for the second shot.
