Hi there, I recently did a post asking for tips when shooting on a green screen with dvx100b. I did everything i could to make life as easy as possible in post. I hired a lighting person who worked at the studio. We had 2 magenta lights as a back light and lit the screen and the subject separately. However I loaded it into afx and applied key light, now i feel like crying. The main focus in the footage is the hair, and the keying is giving the models a haircut. Does anyone have any life saving tips. I have watched a lot of tutorials. but any help is appreciated, like is there anything you could recommend to do before i import into ae. I have a stupidly tight deadline and would like to finish the keying/compositing this week. It's shot on pal so is 4:2:0 colour sampling instead of 4:1:1, however Is that to my advantage or not? Oh and it's 25p.
Any help is greatly apreciated. In the meantime i'm going to keep fidling with the settings in keylight.
Cheers
Jim
