? about jello in some shots

I admit, I'm a newbie when it comes to the 5D. I seem to get jello only on hand held shots, especially when the camera's in my hand instead of a support system like the redrock micro setup. If I use sticks for and sort of movement its fantastic, I used to think it was because I don't use Is lenses but I have found numerous examples of people doing hand held stuff without IS lenses.

My questions is what am I doing wrong?
Is there a setting or something that I'm over looking?

Thanks

This has been hashed over for about a year now. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=5D+jello&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

But the short answer is, yes you'll get jello if you hand hold the camera, most noticeably and compounded by A) longer (telephoto) focal lengths, B) high shutter speed, and C) not using IS on a lens.

So the solution is A) use IS on a lens that supports it, B) use a tripod, monopod, or other shoulder/steadicam stabilizer rig, C) use wider lens lengths when going hand held, D) don't invite jello by hand holding a non-IS telephoto range lens with high shutter speed - that's the worst jello you'll ever see.

Thanks

Thanks

Now I know its not just something I'm doing to cause it. I appreciate you taking the time to post the link for me.
