About a problem with the focus ring

Hello a friend have a DVX100A PAL
and he told me that there is on his camera the focus ring moving a little bit (2mm) and when he turn fast the focus ring he can heard a TAK TAK
its on all DVX100A PAL ? or his camera have problem ??
its the second one he change.. and both had the same problem

Does the focus ring move while it is in auto focus? I have noticed in low light situations, from time to time the auto focus has trouble finding focus. As for the "tak tak", the panasonic lens shade tends to rattle a bit if its not tightened, since the shade sits next to the focus ring, it might get confused as the ring making the noise. Have your friend check these things & if none apply, it might be a case of something malfunctioning & will need to send it to a techy.

i bought mine today (dvx100A)
and there isnt this problem .. i think his camera have a problem
