STORY:

Some guy keeps calling for one of my room mates. It's gotten ridiculous. Another room mate posted a sign on our kitchen white board stating that he had enough of the calls and had beaten up the guy and tied him up in the basement. The movie is about coming home to find him.)

Of course!

The 50 I have is pretty fast and clean. But the 28 is slow, old and kinda foggy.

I've got a nikon mount on the adapter so I think most nikon glass in the same series will work.

I'd also like to know more about the nikon 35 ... what's the story man? It's a stock lens? Any modification? Mounts?

About the adapter. It's not a nikon adapter, it a home made "my35". I use a nikon mount on it so I use nikon lens

I bought it off a member of this site named Mike dawson.

That was good. I think doc83 was a little thrown off by the out of focus shots. I liked them a lot and did not see them as an issue. They added a lot of flavor.
 
Mike, yeah I had to light a lot inside. The adapter cuts quite a lot of light so we were blasting lamps everywhere. (all home depot and home made lights with diffuser and blue gel).

Doc83, yeah alot of shots had large areas out of focus. This was on purpose. We were really playing with a very shallow depth of field. Kinda wanky maybe, but the short was primarily practice in doing that.

Clips are interesting...the slide show would not work. I'm curious about your 'rig'.
 
ProfD, the rig is actually just a strange pic. I built a counterbalance stabilizer to shoot low angle stuff off the back of a scooter.

The pic is me sitting backward on a scooter using the weird rig.

It's not glamourous but the shots it caught looked cool.
