Wow.....what really bad writing.

This might be a passable movie, but I don't see how it can possibly sustain itself as a series. I predict an early cancellation.

Let's see.....the kid from Storybrooke (in Maine) runs away and goes to Boston (Mass., of course), where he meets up with Dr. Cameron from 'House'. During the course of their conversation, the kid says the people living in Storybrooke are trapped there -- that when they try to leave, "bad things happen". And hmmm.....somehow the very intelligent Jennifer Morrison character doesn't respond with, "But.......YOU left." (And no, bad things don't happen.)

Several times the kid tells her he won't go back home. That his mother hates him and treats him mean, and he WON'T go back. This is usually followed by him taking her hand and calmly letting her take him back home. No kicking, no screaming, no running away.

And that's just the tip of the bad writing iceberg.

I know I watched it....and even after reading the posts above.... I can't remember a thing about it. What does that tell you?

I remember there was a clock that hit 8:16 or something.

"From the writers of LOST"? That doesn't sell me on it. Sorry.

And the kid who plays what I assume is one of the leads can't seem to enunciate. I only understood half of what he said. If that much. How did Jennifer Morrison get herself stuck in a mess like this???
