A7sII ND filter advice?

This has been discussed since the A7SI but some new products have come since then...so for video use how reasonable is it try to make due with one strong ND filter? The lens is f/4 and 95mm (Sony 28-135PZ). What stop ND would you get? I also want to use the stock lens hood which means some filters won't fit, but some do.

I really don't like fooling with add-on ND but shooting outdoors will require it.
A big THANKS in advance since I've looked at a bunch of these trying to figure out what to do

The sunny-16 rule says "f/16 for ISO 100 at 1/100s". If you're shooting slog2 at ISO 1600 but, like I do, you usually overexpose by one stop, you have +4 stop of light because of the aperture, +3 stops because of "ISO+underexposure", and +1 because of the shutter speed. So, 8 stops of ND is what the theory says.

Then again, if you do ETTR you'll overexpose a bit more: with my a7S I used to use a 9-stops filter at f/2.8 and ISO 3200, which let me with one stop of headroom before white things clipped, and two stops of headroom before the sky started clipping. So, you may be fine with a 7-stops ND. Two stops of overexposure is a bit on the edge for many people, though.

I was just looking for ND filters myself. I was debating doing a 9 or 10 stop (http://breakthrough.photography/product/x4-neutral-density/)

sunny day rule: with +1 exposure: I could shoot 1/50th, at F 2.0. If I needed to drop to 1.4 I could increase shutter to 1/100th, or over expose 2/3rds of a stop. If I need to shoot at 4 or 5.6 I don't have a problem with upping the iso to 6400.
my other option is stacking a +6 and a +3. that way I can work with Overcast days and sunny days. Won't work with wide angles.

I'm using the Tiffen variable ND right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nECdBiu5Rrw

Thank you all!

I contacted breakthrough because I had heard they were making a 95mm ND in the future and they confirmed several 95mm ND coming in 2017.
