Hey all,
This isn't a huge deal for me because I shoot 90% video with the A7sii. But I've noticed that when I attach an all manual lens, for example my 100mm Rokinon Macro, and turn on the IBIS, set it to 100mm and try to take photos in M mode, there doesn't seem to be any stabilization happening. However, if I flick it over to video mode OR start recording video in M mode the stabilizer kicks in...My Sony 28mm seems to always be stabilized in whatever mode I'm in when the stabilizer is on.
The only reason this would help is because I enjoy shooting video in M mode since you can punch in twice for focus checking. However when trying to nail focus the image is shaking like crazy until I start recording video.
None of this is a huge deal, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, or if it's normal?
