A7Sii how to change aperture?

I have A7Sii with Sony 28-135PZ. But both wheels change the shutter and nothing seems to change the aperture, not even the iris ring on the lens.
If I put it in A priority mode then it will let me change it but then it's in photo mode and I prefer to operate it in a video mode as close to a video camera as I can.
What am I doing wrong?
It would be great if I could have one wheel control shutter, the other wheel control aperture, and of course the aperture ring on the lens control aperture.
Both wheels changing shutter is silly as I normally leave it in 1/60 anyway.

Trying to operate a photography camera as a video camera.

Set it in manual photography and go to town. You wont see video levels before you hit record, but you will get much better quality on zoom assist, and full manual control.

There should be an option in the menu to change the dials. I haven't used the a7SII in years, but with all of the Sony cameras after that you can have either one be shutter or aperture. You can even program the wheel.

Most of my life with cameras, I have the front one as shutter, the back as aperture, and the wheel as ISO. Blazing fast operation for me while running around.

And use the camera in the video mode (filmstrip) for video.
