Hi,
I use a SmallHD 502 with my A7Sii (firmware V2.0) but when shooting 4k internal I can't get info overlay via HDMI to show anything on the SmallHD (F stop, rec tally, audio meters, etc). I've tried all settings under HDMi Info Display in HDMi settings in the menu but no joy.
Camera info is displayed when shooting 1080p however not perfectly - the output is windowed on the smallHD.
I simply want to be able to look at the SmallHD to see if the camera is recording or not, or check F stops, instead of having to look at both screens. I've been caught out a few times when I didn't hit the record button hard enough and wasn't actually recording a take!
Is this a bug or is it set that way to prevent Assassins or Pix-E recorders recording screen info? But then why would Sony provide an option to switch overlay on and off?
