a7s2 used in wet conditions in scotland

Hi Guys,

i took my new a7s Mark II to scotland in november 2015.
It was raining nearly every day, so i covered the camera with a trashbag and let just the canon 24-105 and the pisplay free.
Worked pretty good and my a7s2 is still working.

I switched a lot between 4k, 1080 50p and 120p. The 120p gave me some extra focal lenghts and for some shots i also used a canon 100-400.
Mostly Handheld with some shots made possible by using a ronin ( in some minutes of no rain :D )

Cinegemma 4 was used.

Enjoy it:

Nice camerawork & grade!

A few technical questions...

Did you use the lens' IS, or the camera's?

Did you add any stabilization in post?

What made you choose the A7s2 over a A7r2?

Thanks Bern,

I just used the Lens IS. Because when i had switched on internal IBIS i had to select the focal lenghts every time i zoom in and out.
I think the automatic detection of the focal lenghts didn't work with my adapter or lens combination. Have to give it a try again.

In some shots i add werp stabiliser, but the longer moving shots are gimbal shots.
I took the a7s2 because i wanted the 1080 100/120p and i read about some heat issues on the a7r2.

hope that answered your questions.

cheers
Marcus
