I shot this in Arizona last month. The setup was an A7S in a Movcam cage and assorted rails. For accessories I used a Sennheiser shotgun, Sony wireless lav, Juicedlink XLR box and switched between the Odyssey7Q+ and a SmallHD DP4 for monitoring. Power was thanks to a Westside AV Sony "L" adaptor. Slider shots were on a Edelkrone slider pro and timelapses were the same A7S using the built-in app (going to RAW stills and combined in post.)
Color profile was the stock PP6.
We arrived on a Monday to assess the aircraft and come up with a shooting plan. Unfortunately, the crew just decided to get started immediately. So it was run-and-gun from arrival though the end, three days later. The result was this 27-minute long episode. I had about two days to edit, plus a half day to tweak color and sound.
We did film a whole bit on the interior of the aircraft, however, the Air Force unfortunately decided they didn't want us to use interior footage for whatever reason. (Their plane, their rules.)
