A7S time lapse app shutting down

I'm trying to test the time lapse app on my A7S and it keeps shutting down. Sometime after 1 minute, sometimes 2minutes. But no matter what settings I try it keeps crashing and shutting the camera down. I've installed the latest firmware and also tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and keep getting the same results.

Anyone else experience this problem? Am I missing something with my camera settings that might be causing this? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Kirk,

The app is by no means perfect, I've had my share of problems with it as well. Are you using any kind of electronic lens adapter? I've run into certain situations where I'm using a certain lens with my adapter and the app becomes non-responsive or does not work as it should. You are also using the most recent version of the timelapse app i assume?
 
Actually yes, i'm using the metabones with a Tokina 11-16mm. I just tried a different lens and it seems to work fine. Now re-testing with tokina again to see if maybe it wasn't seeded right. Hopefully that's the issue. Thanks for your reply.
