A7S on a tripod

This is a big problem for me. Especially when I am using the 18-200 Sony powerzoom. Its a very good lense but totally bulky. Because of the Motor housing its almost impossible to use a standard tripod quick release plate like the Manfrotto 501pl with this lense. Even in other cases its difficult to use the 501pl , because it rotates after a while, you dont have this little hole in front of the screw where you can fix the lateral movement. Ok, you can take an Arca swiss compatible system, but if you are using for example a Sachtler Ace and you want to use the advantages of a fluid head you need a 501 plate as well. With this "building" under your camera its slightly more unstable with very long lenses. A little bit wind can shake your camera so that some footage will became unusable. How do you handle your A7s on a tripod especially with long lenses???
