a7S Movie Mode AF "Focus Area" Options

With the RX10 and RX100 series cameras, Movie Mode offers none of the AF Focus Area options available for stills (other than Lock-ON AF). Has the a7S evolved in this respect?

Many thanks,
Dan

Does anyone know if this is possible...One thing that I wish was different about the AF Area is that when you choose "Flexible spot" that you can always have that spot in focus in AF mode while shooting video. Right now, as I can tell, if you select a flexible spot it reacts to a half-press of the shutter, but then if you're in AF mode the auto focus just goes right back to whatevers basically center, ignoring the small spot you've designated. Is there a way to select a specific spot for the AF to always lock on to WITHOUT having to press the shutter?

My flex spot stays in place. Here is what I do. I have the AF/MF set to the default "Hold", so when I'm in manual focus, as I normally am I just have to press the AF/MF button to auto focus and got back to manual focus when I let go of the button. I have the AEL Button (lower position) set to AF/MF "Toggle" and my C3 set to "Focus Setting", so when I need to move my flex spot I just which to the lower position press the button to which to auto focus then press my C3 to move my focus point to a new spot. If I don't need to change my spot but just want plain old auto focus then just whiching to the lower position and pressing the button to go into auto focus always choose the last focus flex spot I was on. I don't know if that helped answer your questions, hope it helped :)
