A7s Lens Support

I'm using an A7s with a Metabones EF to NEX adapter and Canon lenses. Should I support my 70-200 f/2.8 USM II lens with a rails support system of some kind? I have the Movcam cage rig and riser which locks the camera body to the adapter nicely but I'm thinking this lens is a bit too heavy to use without some kind of support and am trying to figure out the best way to achieve that.

Thanks. It doesn't look like there's a UK distributor of these but I can probably get it from Berkey directly. Do you have some kind of cheeseplate as well so you can balance the rig on a tripod somewhere in the middle?
