A7s II slog3 luts

So now that the camera is out in the wild and people are shooting, I've been trying to find slog3 luts... not just specifically tailored to the the a7s 2, but in general.
I'm having a hard time with finding anything now, and I'm sure there will be many soon, but i'm wondering if anyone has any luts that they're using. Even something as simple as bring it into rec709.

I'm using SLog2 + SGamut3.cine +16 saturation and use a simple curve to adjust gamma in post. SLog3 gamma doesn't seem very useful so far.
For indoors Cine1 + SGamut3.cine is looking really good straight out of camera.

I remember seeing some proper f55 slog3 luts on eoshd forums. Have a peak there.

Thanks, will check.

Do you think the f55 is the same slog3 implementation tho? I can definitely confirm that slog2 on the a7s and on the fs700 are a bit different.

no it's not. there are no a7s slog3 luts. this one will get you as close as it gets if you don't know resolve.

Are you chaps aware of http://www.lutcalc.net?

You can use the free online version or buy the app from the Mac App store and Chrome App store. It's worth every penny and developed by Cameramanben who is a regular on these forums (F5/F55/FS7 area)

My FS7 would be half the camera it is without this incredibly useful tool and if you haven't checked it out I think you'll find it pretty useful too for rolling your own LUTs. I love the ability to mix various output gammas with the Alexa gamut (LC709A) to quash the saturated video look of 709. Mixing the BBC gamma and Alexa gamut produces some wonderful starting off points for grading.

Check it out and spread the word.

Nirv beat me to it.

It's very useful, you can generate Luts that are better than the standard ones in PPro but also you can combine Slog2/SGamut3.cine and adjust the black points.

Just be careful about legal vs data ranges - the in camera XAVCs appear to all be legal range but the HDMI is data range.

cheers
Paul
