A7s ii intervolemeter troubleshooting

I shoot a fair amount of timelapses with this camera and have had a weird issue. After it is running for a while, the camera resets to some default exposure. I lose whatever my iso, shutter, and iris settings I had and some seemingly arbitrary values show up ruining my timelapse. This is the 2nd intervolemeter that this problem has occurred on the same camera so I believe its the camera itself. This happens even when the shutter Is way way less than the interval so it's not a write speed issue as far as I can tell. Anyone experienced this?

I had the same issue, and found that I could at least defeat auto exposure by choosing the CUSTOM theme setting, but in terms of white balance, I wish I knew. Using the Custom theme you can shoot time lapse in Manual mode, but the camera still alters the white balance when the time lapse app starts.

Anyone have the answer?

Either of you try filming with the app? No issues there for me - shoot them all the time, from several minutes to like well over an hour or so and never had an issue with the app. I do shoot almost entirely manual though, rarely any shutter or aperture priority or anything else like that.

I had no problem with the timelapse app too. Did you changing your battery?
If you pull out the battery too fast, the setting is not saved in camera.
