A7S file name problem

Hi,

So I recently shot a project and we used the A7S for some of our dark interiors.

We used 2 cards and both have the same file names on each card. C0001.MP4 and onward.

I went back to the menu settings and under the last tab(briefcase icon) under the number 5 page there is a option called File Number, which is set to Series and not Reset.

So my question is, why do the file numbers reset even though the Series option is selected? Is this a photo only option? How can this be corrected in the future so that the file names do not reset every time an SD card is formatted?

Unfortunately that's how A7S works with video. For stills the filenames keep incrementing even after formatting the card, but video resets to C0001.MP4.
Might have to do with the database that the camera creates on the card. Camera itself doesn't keep track of video file numbering.
