A7s EXIF date in FCPX

Has anyone successfully been able to import or add EXIF data into FCPX?
It doesn't show up in FCPX. I'm using a commite EF to E mount adapter which is sending the EXIF date to the card and the file, but FCPX is not recognizing it.
